Design Contest!

La Femme de Cleveland is holding its first shirt design contest! The contest is from February 1st through the 21st. The winner will be announced the first week of March. The winning design will be available for purchase and featured in the April fashion show! You can submit design ideas to kzagara@lafemmedecleveland.com!

Big Weekend in Cleveland!

The Greater Cleveland Aquarium officially opened today!!! This is big for the city, not only in an educational aspect but also for tourism! The Greater Cleveland Aquarium features 1 million gallons of water and a SeaTube, which is an exciting underwater walk-through experience. A day ticket for adults is $21.50. Not too bad for such a cool adventure! Definitely going to have to check it out myself. Next thing we know, the Casino downtown will be up and ready for business as well! Cleveland State is building more apartments and a new Science building, Case Western is adding to their campus, and as we all know, the medical campuses of Cleveland as always growing. This is great news! I see Cleveland headed down a positive path! Support Cleveland, take pride!  Have a great weekend & go check out what the 216 has to offer!

Well, we are 13 days into 2012! How are the new years resolutions coming? La Femme's are coming along very smoothly! Katelyn has been working hard to promote the company by forming teams to get the word out there. As a team, we have been contacting newspapers and magazines to do an article as well as trying to find more locations to sell the merchandise! Planning for a summer party and winter and spring photo-shoots are also in the works. So be on the look out! Well, I was just packing up to move back to school Saturday and got bored so I figured I'd blog a little:). I can't wait to wear my La Femme zip up as i drag my luggage all around campus. Hope everyone is staying warm this winter, and if not........ there are La Femme sweatshirts for that ;)!

2012, here we come!

Hi everyone! My name is Allie and I am new to the La Femme de Cleveland team! I am a student at Cleveland State University, living in the beautiful downtown Cleveland! Needless to say, I love it. I love waking up every morning and seeing the skyline. I love the pride Cleveland sports fans have. I love my school. I love Cleveland. As I was searching around how to show my Cleveland pride, I came across La Femme de Cleveland. Not only is it a company supporting Cleveland, but also women. Brains, Beauty, Young, Pretty & from Cleveland.  Powerful words to describe women, Cleveland, and a company. Anyway! I am very excited to be a part of the La Femme team! My role includes keeping you all up to date with whats going on in Cleveland, special events, and exciting news wether it be through this blog or on the facebook page or other social networking sites!
